Original key preserved, (copies available & used by current owner to preserve this key) number stamped / matching per original sales booklet. All original sales literature, brochures, service books available along with a folder containing 52 years of service history, 41 yrs from original owner & the past 11 yrs by the current.

Purchased by original owner for $2685, at Sandersons VW Camberwell (dealer sticker still on rear window) a spinster at 45 yo upon purchase, loved and maintained the VW for 41 years as her daily driver until no longer able to drive. Driver notes inside glove box lid on stickers from her left intact to preserve the spirit of this car. 2nd owner/custodian has similarly continued to maintain and nurse the VW since acquisition
Original engine travelled 249,000 kms in 46 yrs until being rebuilt in 2018 by reputable original VW mechanic. German, Italian & Danish parts / replacements used by this mechanic. Stong motor & gearbox with gear rod bush recently replaced along with wheel alignment/balance. Vehicle has only travelled 10000 mls / 16000 kms on rebuilt motor.
The interior is all original and as can be seen, unmolested. The only modern update in a spare extras allocated spot on the dash was the fitting of a port in order for phone & GPS use
