This original example features a 2.0litr motor, 5 speed gearbox, black carpets, ZAGATO designed front & rear seats and body and wheels in rust free condition. The BETA SPYDER ZAGATO was a two-door convertible built on the Beta coupe Platform but then transported to the ZAGATO factory to be coached built into the Spyder version. It features a removable hard Targa top roof panel that stores in the generous boot, an integrated roll-over bar and folding rear window section that easily drops down.
The ZAGATO badge is found on the boot lid, and it's very distinguished ZAGATO winged seats are original and only found on the series I cars.
The motor runs strong without any issues and gearbox and selector work fine without any crunching of the gears. A lot of money was spent on the car to mechanically fix it back in 2015, with not many Km's done since. All lights and lenses are in very good condition and the front grill is new.
There is a BRAND new Tonneau included in the sale to replace the existing worn rear window canopy section. An easy job to replace and make new again.
Paint is showing age having been resprayed many years ago, and the seats need retrimming. Otherwise with some TLC, the car can be a great example once more.
