1968 Moto Guzzi Ambassador

A classic Italian touring motorcycle from Moto Guzzi’s golden era, this 1968 Moto Guzzi Ambassador is finished in Black and shows an indicated 1,537 miles. Moto Guzzi Ambassador Model History

Introduced in the late 1960s, the Moto Guzzi Ambassador was developed as a successor to the V7 series and became well known for its robust design and comfortable touring capability. Many examples were supplied to police forces and long-distance riders due to their reliability and stable handling. The distinctive transverse V-twin layout, shaft drive and Italian styling have made these motorcycles highly recognisable and increasingly collectible among vintage motorcycle enthusiasts today.



Description / Condition

Vendor advises the motorcycle is a project bike and is currently non-running. The engine reportedly shows approximately 100 psi compression per cylinder and has a good spark, with the carburettors having been cleaned. The starter motor is present and operational but reportedly turns slowly.



Additional notes include:

• New head pipes fitted

• Seat missing

• Side cover missing

• Various other components missing
