In June 2007, the original owner upgraded the engine to a 355ci stroker motor, professionally built by McLaren Engineering of Beverley, SA, ensuring enhanced performance while staying true to its V8 roots. At the time of the change, the original motor had approximately 24,000 kilometres on it, and importantly, the factory engine block is included with the sale, maintaining its originality for collectors. All modifications and authenticity have been verified and confirmed by HSV.
