This watch presents in very good vintage condition for a piece of approximately 65 years. The 14 karat yellow gold case presents with its characteristic warm, rich colour throughout with no evidence of base metal or colour inconsistency confirming solid gold construction. The applied gold indices are all present, well-seated, and matching in tone. The fluted yellow gold bezel retains impressive ridge definition suggesting minimal wear to this surface. The case retains good lug definition with angular profiles consistent with limited polishing. The champagne dial has developed a beautifully even patina consistent with decades of honest aging. An aftermarket leather strap has been fitted; the original bracelet is not present.
