<b>Description</b><br>
A fully abstract all-over geometric composition built from interlocking arch and star forms. The recurring motif - rounded arcade arches that interlock with radiating star-like geometry and sweeping curved bands - fills the sheet in a dense, rhythmic pattern reminiscent of Islamic geometric tilework or a complex textile. The result is visually arresting and would fill a wall with confident energy.<br><br>
The palette is varied and warm: soft yellows and creams dominate the background tone, with blue, navy, forest green, sage green, orange-coral, ochre, gold, brown and grey filling the geometric forms. Black outlines define the structural elements. The application is meticulous, with careful tonal gradation giving the flat geometric forms a subtle three-dimensional quality. Signed in red at lower right. Verso bears a copyright notation.<br><br>
This is the more purely abstract work in the ISHISHI group (compare Lot 301) but shares the same confident draftsmanship and palette sensibility.<br><br>
