Overview

A Small Oil Painting Depicting Two Sailing Boats Moored On Calm Blue Water. The Work Is Executed In A Heavily Impastoed Palette-Knife Technique, With Thick Ridges Of Paint Building Up The Hulls, Masts, Rigging And Water Reflections. One Vessel Has A Green Hull And The Other A Red Hull, Both With Furled Sails And Tall Masts. The Sky Is Rendered In Soft Blues And Whites With Light Cloud Cover. The Water Features Horizontal Strokes Of Blue, White And Brown, Capturing Reflections Of The Boats Below.
