Overview

This is an Edsel Citation four-door sedan finished in a two-tone cream and blue colour scheme. The vehicle is left hand drive and is fitted with an automatic transmission with a floor-mounted shifter displaying P R N D 2 1 positions.

The interior features front and rear bench seats trimmed in blue fabric with cream vinyl bolsters and brown vinyl lower sections. A push-button AM radio is fitted to the dashboard. The instrument cluster includes a dome-style speedometer, fuel gauge, voltmeter, water temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge. Aftermarket gauges for water temperature and oil pressure are fitted to the instrument panel. An aftermarket air conditioning unit is fitted beneath the dashboard. Chrome wire-spoke wheels with American Racing centre caps are fitted, shod in whitewall tyres including Goodyear branded tyres. A continental spare wheel kit is mounted on the rear of the vehicle with a blue cover. A whip antenna is fitted to the front passenger guard.

Condition

The exterior paintwork presents with a glossy finish across most panels. The chrome trim, bumpers and body mouldings are intact. The blue side scallop trim panels and rear deck trim are in place. There is rust visible on the driver side front door jamb area and the passenger side rear door jamb area. The lower sections of the rear bumper show paint chips and wear. The bonnet ornament is in place.

The interior shows wear consistent with the age of the vehicle. The front seat vinyl bolsters display soiling and creasing. The fabric seat inserts show wear but remain intact on both front and rear benches. The dashboard pad is cracked and worn, with a blue fabric dash mat covering part of it. The glovebox lid appears loose with the interior cavity exposed. Exposed wiring is visible beneath the dashboard on the driver side. The carpets are dark brown and show wear. The door trims feature blue fabric upper sections with cream vinyl and brown vinyl lower panels, and are intact on both sides. The headliner appears light coloured and intact.

The engine bay contains a V-configuration engine with a round air cleaner, aftermarket air conditioning compressor and an ACDelco battery. General grime and surface corrosion are visible in the engine bay.
