The leaves are boiled to extract resin, which is mixed with kangaroo fat to create a paste used for cuts, bites, burns, rashes and as an insect repellent. The work also reflects the bush medicine ceremonies held by women at different times of the year. This original painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Knight Fine Art.
