1968 Honda S800

Introduced in 1966, the Honda S800 was the final evolution of Honda’s first generation of road cars, following the S500 and S600. Known for its motorcycle-inspired engineering, high-revving twin-cam engine and lightweight construction, the S800 showcased Honda’s precision performance long before the arrival of its later sports icons. With its 0.8-litre four-cylinder capable of revving beyond 8,000 rpm, the S800 became renowned for delivering spirited driving in a compact and beautifully engineered package. Today, surviving examples are highly collectible due to their rarity, mechanical uniqueness and historical importance in Honda's development as a global automotive brand.
