HSV VS GTS Model History
Released in 1995, the VS GTS represented the pinnacle of HSV engineering at the time. Powered by the 215i 5.7-litre stroker V8 and equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, it was one of the quickest Australian sedans of its generation. Distinctive body styling, upgraded suspension, improved braking and luxury appointments helped cement the GTS as HSV’s premier performance flagship. Today, the VS GTS is highly sought after due to its low production numbers, strong performance and significance in HSV’s evolution.
