This system eliminated the need for premixed fuel, allowing oil to be automatically metered into the engine for improved convenience and reliability.



Yamaha YG1 Model History

The Yamaha YG1 formed part of Yamaha’s early expansion into lightweight motorcycles during the 1960s. Known for its reliability, simplicity and advanced two-stroke design, the model helped build Yamaha’s reputation for innovative engineering.
