Description
The HQ/HJ 1 Tonner is one of those quintessentially Australian machines that has built a cult following over the decades, and this example wears it well. Finished in a vivid eye-candy yellow with a contrasting satin black bonnet and twin racing stripes, this thing looks exactly like what it is: a street machine build with real presence. The body presents beautifully, panel work is straight and rust-free from what the photos show, and the paint has a quality finish that wouldn't look out of place at a car show. American Racing-style alloy wheels all round, fender vent trim on the guards, and a tubular rear protection bar tie the look together nicely.
