Description
The fourth-generation F100 is one of the most popular platforms in the Australian hot rod and custom scene, and this 1965 example has been built with a seriously impressive specification sheet. At its heart sits a 351 Windsor V8 that has been properly built from the ground up, not just given a cam and a carby. The bottom end runs Wiseco 10.5:1 forged pistons, the top end breathes through Victor Junior alloy heads with roller rockers and Lunati roller lifters, and the whole lot is fed by a Holley Terminator multi-point injection system running Bosch 1000cc injectors. That is a serious combination that delivers strong, reliable power with modern drivability.
Vendor advises the engine was rebuilt 30 thou over with the full performance specification listed below. The drivetrain is equally well sorted, with a C6 automatic fitted with a 2800rpm stall converter feeding through a Truetrac limited slip differential with 3.1 gearing. That combination is well matched for strong street performance without being unmanageable. The truck is finished in silver and retains the classic F100 body lines. MSD distributor ignition keeps the spark side sorted.
