1950 FIAT 1400 SEDAN - BLACK - PRIVATE COLLECTOR OWNED - RARE POSTWAR ITALIAN CLASSIC

1950 Fiat 1400 4-Door Sedan. Rear-wheel drive. 1.4-litre inline-4 petrol. Manual transmission. Indicating 69,055 miles. 6 seats.

Description

The Fiat 1400 was a landmark for Fiat, the first model designed entirely in-house after the war. Styled by Dante Giacosa with a full unitary body, independent front suspension, and a modern flat-floor interior, the 1400 pushed Fiat into the modern era. This 1950 example is presented in deep gloss black with period-correct steel wheels and Fiat hubcaps. The interior features red vinyl seating with the original round instrument cluster, large two-spoke steering wheel with Fiat horn emblem, and horizontal ribbed dash detailing all intact. The paint has depth and gloss with good panel alignment. Owned and preserved by a private collector, with spare parts included in the boot. These are genuinely rare in Australia, very few made it here and even fewer survive in this condition.

A car for the serious collector or the Italian car enthusiast looking for something nobody else will have.
