Overview

The Conquistador Grand Prix represents Franck Muller's most motorsport-inspired case architecture: an angular, almost fortified tonneau form with integrated black rubber and composite bezel elements, titanium case construction, and a dial language that mixes the FM signature oversized numerals with compass-direction chapter ring markings. The 9900 SC GP is the three-hand date sweep seconds version, and from early-2000s production, this is a piece from FM's most creatively ambitious decade. The case and dial are in excellent condition. The guilloche radiating pattern on the dial is crisp, the bi-colour numeral arrangement (white upper numerals against the lighter field, black lower numerals with white outlines) is distinctive and intact, and the compass ring with its NORTH/EAST/SOUTH/WEST markings in red and white reads cleanly. The black rubber strap carries the FM monogram in relief on the strap face and retains full suppleness. The deployant clasp shows the FM intertwined monogram in its central motif and is in very good condition. No box or papers are included, which is reflected in the guide.

Condition

The watch presents in near-excellent condition. The titanium case retains clean brushed finishing across all surfaces with minimal visible wear. The dial is in excellent condition with crisp text, intact guilloche pattern, and no visible damage or fading. The sapphire crystal shows no scratches or chips. The black rubber strap is supple and retains the molded FM monogram clearly. The deployant clasp shows very light handling marks on the PVD finish consistent with careful wear over its production life. Vendor advises condition as good.
