Description
The C3 Corvette is the longest-running generation of America's sports car, and this 1980 example represents an honest project with a genuine performance foundation already in place. The GM Performance ZZ4 crate engine is a well-regarded unit producing approximately 355 horsepower, and the engine block casting number visible in the photos (GM12464340) is consistent with a GM Performance Parts installation. A Holley 4-barrel carburetor with air cleaner is fitted, and red performance plug wires are visible. The Turbo 700 automatic transmission has been paired with it, and vendor advises both engine and transmission carry low mileage since installation.
Supporting mechanical work has also been completed: brakes overhauled, front and rear suspension rebuilt, fuel system drained and flushed, carburettor rebuilt and tuned, and power steering work completed. This is meaningful work that represents real dollars spent. The T-top roof configuration is present with panels removed in photos. The bonnet is constructed from a different material to the fibreglass body, which is visible in photos as a slightly different surface texture. The odometer reads 50,464 miles.
