<b>Condition:</b> Generally good. Artwork surface appears stable through glass. Mat board shows moderate foxing and toning, particularly along the top edge, and a yellowed stain/tape residue at the upper centre of the mat. Verso backing shows scattered foxing. Artist label partially detached. No visible tears, holes, or significant damage to the painting itself.<br>

A Chinese ink wash painting depicting two galloping horses in vigorous motion, rendered in the traditional guohua (Chinese painting) style. The horses are shown from a rear three-quarter view with legs extended and manes flowing, conveying powerful energy and momentum. The brushwork is accomplished and confident, with masterful control of ink density moving from near-dry brush textures through to rich, fully loaded black strokes defining musculature and form. The composition is complemented by a calligraphic inscription in running script and two red seal stamps (chops) in the lower left corner, consistent with the format of traditional Chinese brush painting. The paper ground has the off-white tone characteristic of aged xuan (rice) paper.<br>
