The Mazda 1800 represents Toyo Kogyo's most ambitious export push of the early 1970s, a car that brought European-style design and overhead-cam sophistication to the compact family segment. This particular STA-series sedan is a genuine Australian-delivered example, wearing its original compliance plate and Toyo Kogyo factory build plate, with 62,353 miles on the Nippon Seiki speedometer. The exterior presents in honest original red, with panel gaps that are straight and consistent throughout. The bonnet vent, twin-headlight grille, and chrome bumpers remain intact and present.
