This substantial industrial machine features a robust cast iron construction with a pedestal-mounted design. The machine is equipped with a 1.5 HP electric motor (visible in the motor housing), mechanical spindle speed controls with multiple settings ranging from 180-1800 RPM, and a precision-engineered drilling head assembly. The work table is constructed from cast iron with three parallel grooves for secure workpiece clamping, supported by a yellow-painted steel base frame with wooden support blocks. The machine includes manual feed controls with handwheel operation, depth stop mechanisms, and original brass ball handles for spindle speed adjustment. The drilling capacity accommodates various bit sizes as indicated on the specification plate. Visible wear consistent with industrial use; rust patina on exposed metal surfaces typical of vintage machinery.
