Condition Notes
This plate remains in pristine, sealed condition exactly as issued in 1990. The original Wedgwood box shows minor age-related wear consistent with 36 years of storage, but contents are untouched. Certificate of Authenticity is present and legible. The decorative illustration by Petula Stone depicts a charming village fête scene with period figures, ivy-covered brick cottage, and traditional English countryside setting in soft watercolour tones.

The Village Fête series represents Wedgwood's 'The Village Green' collection, which captured scenes of village life at the turn of the century. This fourth issue is a sought-after piece from the final years of this limited production run. Wedgwood's fine Queen's Ware ceramic is renowned for durability and collectibility.
