A Hand-Carved Wooden Mask Featuring A Serene Face With Almond-Shaped Eyes, A Sculpted Nose With Two Drilled Nostril Holes, And Painted Red Lips With Decorative Curled Line Work At The Corners. The Upper Portion Of The Mask Features An Ornate Carved And Painted Headdress Or Crown With A Repeating Geometric Pattern Of Triangular Forms In Red, Green, Gold, Yellow And Blue, Bordered By A Scalloped Band With Black Painted Curls. Carved Black-Painted Hair Details Frame The Forehead And Temples. The Eyes Feature Carved Recesses With Painted White Sclera And Dark Irises With Small White Highlights. The Face Is Finished In A Natural Wood Tone.

The Verso Is Hollowed Out, Consistent With A Wearable Or Wall-Mounted Mask, And Features A Small Wire Loop At The Top For Hanging. The Interior Shows Natural Wood Grain And Tool Marks From The Carving Process.
